I booked an Exora

March 16, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Believe it or not, I booked myself a proton exora. I’ve been looking for a bigger car to transport my growing family.  Yep I’ve three boys now. Muhammad Qaid, Muhammad Rizq and Muhammad Haziq. I’ve been a fan of Paul Tan’s raves and rants of the motor industry, and has always been on the lookout for the Proton Exora MPV news that Paul puts on his website since it was leaked that Proton were on a new project of designing their own MPV (early last year…. i guess). Now, a year later…… I went on to the Proton Edar and booked myself a proton exora on the very first day the bookings were opened. But Paul Tan, the lucky devil was invited by proton to test drive the MPV. He gave his very sincere comments about the MPV. I too had doubt about the engine capacity…. whether it is powerful enough….. with that big body and seven seats.  I have a few photos of the MPV during its tests run on the MRR2 recently, I quickly took out my handphone and snapped away. Well, it breezed quickly passed me and I really had to put an effort to catch up with them. Well according to Paul, the MPV really had to struggle from still but when it is already on the move…. there is power…. ahaaa…. Thank God. And thanks paul for his input. Well the MPV does not have a good pickup, so what….. Its an MPV for god sakes….. but at least its got the cruising speed… Thank God! I can finally sleep peacefully.
